Wnw Megalast Lipstick 901B Review (& MAC Angel l/s comparison)

Hello beauties! Wet n' Wild's Megalast Lip Color lipsticks are absolutely amazing. If you're a fan of matte lipsticks (or just want to try some out), these are a perfect option because they're really inexpensive. They cost about $3.00 anywhere WnW is sold, but I was able to find mine for 50% off at Walgreens, making them even more of a steal at only $1.50 each (I bought 7 total, which shows how much I like them! ). They don't have any shimmer, and they wear better than the majority of other matte lipsticks I've tried. They don't dry my lips out like MAC's matte lipsticks do, and they last a good 4 or 5 hours on me before I start thinking about re-applying. Below are images taken in natural light of the Megalast Lip Color in 901B. The WnW lipcolor is on the left in both images. On the right is MAC's Angel lipstick for comparison. (Many people have suggested 901B is a drugstore dupe for MAC Angel).

The swatches above show each of the lipsticks swatched once on my hand. The formulas of these lipsticks are very different. Angel is a Frost finish that contains very small, cool-toned shimmers, and it's much less opaque than 901B. Because of this, you'll get less wear-time out of Angel. It's a tad difficult to tell from the swatches, but Angel appears to have a bit more mauve to it when compared to 901B. For most women, Angel is likely to be the more wearable choice for every day.

Overall, I think 901B would be an excellent substitute for MAC Angel, but I wouldn't really call it a dupe.
